Deborah Ann Gierhan was born on July 26, 1961 to Wilmer and Susan (Rogers) Gierhan in Seward, Nebraska. She attended Centennial High School in Utica, Nebraska, graduating in 1979. She then attended Grand Island School of Business and received a Business Degree in Accounting in September of 1980. Deb worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Pepsi Corporation for 33 ½ years, retiring in 2014. In her free time she enjoyed collecting teddy bears and keeping scrapbooks for all of her nieces and nephews. She played the piano and did the bookkeeping for the family farm. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a volunteer for YARC (Youth Association of Retarded Citizens) for many years. Deb passed away on April 16, 2019 in Utica, Nebraska at the age of 57 years, 8 months and 21 days. She is survived by mother, Lynette Gierhan, Waco, Nebraska; brothers, Barry (Brenda) Gierhan, Utica, Nebraska, Kevin (Renee) Gierhan, Utica, Nebraska; nieces and nephews, Karley (Luis) Castro, Trenton Gierhan, Bronson Gierhan, Braylon (Samantha) Gierhan, Kendall (Tori) Gierhan, Bryant Gierhan, Kyle Gierhan, McKenna Gierhan, Brooklyn Gierhan, Cooper Gierhan; great nieces and nephews, Cohen Castro, Kallyn Castro, Berkley Gierhan, Brynleigh Gierhan. Deb was preceded in death by her father, Wilmer W. Gierhan; brother, Timothy Gierhan.
