Diane Lynette Siefert was born on March 30, 1943 to Henry and Stella (Daehling) Schaefer on a farm near Ulysses, Nebraska. She attended Marysville School in Staplehurst, Nebraska. She then attended Seward High School in Seward, Nebraska, graduating in 1961. On March 22, 1986, Diane was united in marriage to Marvin Siefert at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska. She was a hairdresser and beautician for 56 years, retiring in 2017. Diane was a Husker football, basketball and Kansas City Royals baseball fan. In her free time she enjoyed playing pitch, bowling and going on winery tours. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Diane passed away on September 7, 2018 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 8 days. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Siefert, Seward, Nebraska; sisters, Lavonne (Chuck) Evans, Utica, Nebraska, Romelle (Jack) Humphrey, Auburn, Nebraska; brothers-in-law, Richard Greenwood, Utica, Nebraska, Carl Siefert, Bennet, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Sandra Siefert, Bennet, Nebraska; aunt, Laura Daehling, Seward, Nebraska; special friend , Chloe; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Stella Schaefer; sister, Verdayne Greenwood.
