Erwin was born on April 25, 1913 near Seward, Nebraska, to Albert and Hulda (Lukert) Hackbart. Erwin attended school through the eighth grade. On February 5, 1933, Erwin was united in marriage to Edna Spahr at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, NE. Erwin passed away on October 11, 2013, in Seward, NE. Erwin farmed for many years near Beaver Crossing, NE. Erwin was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, NE. In his free time, Erwin enjoyed bowling, traveling, horses, fishing and playing cards (Pitch). Erwin is survived by his children, Jerry Hackbart, Beaver Crossing, NE and his special friend, Mary Norton, Columbus, NE; daughter, Virginia (Raymond) Hladky, Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Catherine (Bill) Cornish, York, NE, Jaime Hackbart, Omaha, NE, Kim Hackbart, Papillion, NE, Scott (Stephanie) Hackbart, Elwood, NE, Daniel (Angie) Hladky, Ainsworth, NE, David (Julie) Hladky, Kansas City, MO, Paige (Tim) Waller, Augusta, GA, Paula Wiemer, Omaha, NE and fiancÚ, Bob Trant, Amy (Doug) Lindhorst, Omaha, NE, Sue (Rick) Rudy, Boulder, CO, Julia Hladky, Kearney, MO; twenty three great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Viola Rohren, Seward, NE.
