John “Deacon” Earl Edwards was born on January 31, 1950, in Harper, Kansas to Orris C. and Lela Mae (Martin) Edwards. On August 21, 1989, John was united in marriage to Cynthia “Kiddy” Clark in Oregon. He loved riding motorcycles and was a certified G. M. auto mechanic. John is survived by his children, Scott (Jocelyn) of Holton, KS; Valerie (Jason) of Seward, NE; Jade of Vermont; Sonya of North Platte, NE; George of Snake River, OR; Ben (Carrie) of Lawrence, KS; John (Jessica) of York, NE; and Sally (Shawn) of St. John, KS; grandchildren, McKale, Maggie Mae, Andrew (Audrey), Angela, Eric, Sean, Nicolas, David, Audie, Mishelle, Dana, Hallie, Chloie, Kristi, Lucas and Alyssa; great grandchildren, Hayden, LillyAnne and Donivan. John was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia; parents, Orris and Lela Mae Edwards.
