Alretta Ann Klepper, of Utica, was born on June 26, 1950 to Francis and Ila (Kenton) Tanner in Wagner, South Dakota. She attended school in South Dakota through the 5th grade before moving to Nebraska. Alretta graduated from Centennial High School in Utica in 1968. On November 22, 1969, Alretta was united in marriage to Allen Klepper at St. John Lutheran Church in Waco, Nebraska. Alretta worked in the fabric and accounting departments at Walmart for 21 years, retiring in 2010. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and sewing. Her true passion was making crafts and selling them at craft shows. Alretta passed away on February 2, 2022 in York, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 7 days. She is survived by her husband, Allen Klepper, Utica, Nebraska; daughter, Amber (Cory) Mero, Ashland, Nebraska; granddaughter, Jade Mero. Alretta was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Ila Tanner; parents-in-law, George and Frieda Klepper; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Milton Klepper, Arlan and Darlene Klepper, Rueben and Wilma Gocke, Kenneth and Marilyn Klepper.
