Audrey M. Hackworth

Audrey Marie Hackworth of Seward, Nebraska was born on April 7, 1938 to Harold and Marie (Kopke) Kallenbach in Rising City, Nebraska.  She graduated from Shelby High School in 1955.  On February 13, 1982, Audrey was united in marriage to John “Bud” Hackworth at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska. She was a Registered Nurse and the Administrator for Anna Sundermann Homes.  In her free time she enjoyed cooking, baking and watching all sports.  She loved spending time outdoors.  Audrey passed away on November 10, 2020 in Milford, Nebraska at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 3 days.  She is survived by her children Galyn (Lavetta) Johnson, Rising City, Nebraska, Gary (Shelley) Johnson, Seward, Nebraska, Gene Johnson, Lincoln, Nebraska, Genon (Jerald “Jerry”) Dobrusky, Seward, Nebraska; stepson, Larry Hackworth, Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Melissa (Matt) Schrawyer, Mark (Alicia) Ryan, Cassandra (C.J.) Grams, Steven Albers, Angelica Albers, Ben (Meagan) Anderson, Jake (Brandie) Anderson, Seth (Samantha) Johnson, Emily Johnson (John O’Hara), Brody Johnson, Justin (Barbara) Dobrusky; great grandchildren, Ian, Weston, Knox, Sadie Anna, Payton, Maverick, Madison, Jackson, Nelson, Aubrey, Carter, Rylee, Kendall; brother, Larry Kallenbach, Winchester, Idaho; sisters, Doris Walmer, Firth, Nebraska, Kathleen (Doug) Harold, Council Bluffs, Iowa.  Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Marie Kallenbach; husband, John “Bud” Hackworth; granddaughter, Shawna Dobrusky.
