Barbara A. Brunken

Barbara Ann Brunken was born on August 1, 1936 to Frederick and Lydia (Heizenrader) Ninneman in Lincoln, Nebraska. She attended high school at Lincoln High. graduating in 1954.   Barbara married Jan Perrin at age 22 while attending UNL.  The union of Jan and Barbara produced Deborah Perrin July, 2 1959. On  July 15, 1971 Barbara was united in marriage to Donald Brunken in Lincoln, Nebraska. She worked as a Clerk Typist for the University of Nebraska at Lincoln for 40 years. In her free time, she loved watching movies, attending church, going out to eat, Barbie dolls and having a good cup of coffee. Barbara loved living on her acreage, tending to the animals, plants and flowers. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Myron) Schellhorn of Lincoln, Nebraska; cousin, Paula (Chris) Holdren of Littleton CO, and their son, Zack (Ghia) Holdren of  Highland Ranch CO.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Lydia Ninneman, her first husband Jan Perrin and her second husband Donald Brunken.
