Benjamin Francis Tanner, of Utica, was born on July 30, 1951 to Francis Harold and Ila Marie (Kenton) Tanner in Wagner, South Dakota. He graduated from Centennial High School in Utica, Nebraska in 1969. Benjamin worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed working on Cub Cadet garden tractors in his free time. Benjamin passed away on November 15, 2022 in Utica, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 16 days. He is survived by his son, Blayne Tanner of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; sister, Alvetta Howell of Mason City, Iowa; brother-in-law, Allen Klepper of Utica, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Ila Tanner; sister, Alretta Klepper.
