Byron R. Brigham was born to Byron Dean and Ruth Amy (Kinnamon) Brigham on October 17, 1922 in Seward, Nebraska. He graduated from Tamora High School in Tamora, Nebraska. Byron served in the United States Army Air Corp from January 15, 1943 to October 13, 1945. On August 18, 1946, Byron was united in marriage to Geraldine Ahrens at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska. Byron was a farmer his entire life. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, a Charter Member of Seward V.F.W. #4755 and a lifetime member of Utica American Legion Post #49. Byron passed away on April 3, 2018 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 95 years, 5 months and 17 days. He is survived by his wife Geraldine Brigham, Seward, Nebraska; daughter, Jean Brigham, Lincoln, Nebraska; son-in-law, Rami Manhas, Seward, Nebraska; grandchildren, Erich (Cynthia) Neujahr, Ben (Meg) Neujahr, Isabella Brigham; great grandchildren, Byron Neujahr, Noel Neujahr. Byron was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Amy Brigham; daughter, Judy Manhas; sisters, Blenda (Glen) Berndt, Bonita Brigham, Beth (Orvan) Welch, Isabel Hess, Gloria (Rex) Tyrell; brothers, Dean (Fern) Brigham, Johnny (Minerva) Brigham, Donald Brigham.
