Carley June Roth was born on July 27, 1941 on a farm near Milford, Nebraska to Lawrence and Bernice (Klopfenstein) Hauder. Carley passed away on July 12, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 80. Carley accepted Christ as her personal savior when she was a young child. Carley attended country school until she transitioned to Milford High School. On September 16, 1962 she was united in marriage to Norman M. Roth of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska. They lived in Denver, Colorado for the first two years of their marriage and then returned to Beaver Crossing to start their own farming business. Norman and Carley were blessed with three children and their spouses, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter with another great grandchild due in December 2022. Carley was a member of Milford Mennonite Church where she attended church until moving to Lincoln four years ago where she attended Lincoln Berean Church. She enjoyed farm life, gardening-especially her flower garden, playing piano for the church and sewing. Carley crafted children’s quilts for the MCC Sale and volunteered at the Et-Cetera Shop in Seward for 20 years. Carley is survived by her children, Greg and Beth (Ficke) Roth of Milford, Nebraska, Kevin and Terri (Wendelin) Roth of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska and Patty (Roth) and Mark Vogel of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Tyler & Madison Roth of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska, Mitchell Roth of Pleasant Dale, Nebraska; Jamie Roth, Kellie Roth and Jada Vogel all of Lincoln, Nebraska; great granddaughter, Avery Roth of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska; sisters, Betty and Lowell Hertzler of Harrisonburg, Virginia and SueAnn and Roy Perry of Hinton, Virginia; stepsister, Sharon (Roth) and Bill Stauffer of Milford, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Judy Eicher of Lincoln, Nebraska; two nephews and one niece. Carley was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Roth; mother, Bernice Hauder; father, Lawrence Hauder; niece, Val Hertzler; brother, James Hauder; stepmother, Mildred Hauder.
