Carlyn Ann Ballard

Carlyn Ann Ballard was born on September 26, 1947 to Clarence and Edna (Bolte) Burhoop in York, Nebraska.  She graduated from Waco High School in 1965.  On February 10, 1997, Carlyn was united in marriage to Larry Ballard in Lawton, Oklahoma.  She worked as a cake baker at Kroger grocery store.  In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, baking especially wedding cakes, watching cooking shows, dancing, roller skating, and of course she loved cardinals.  Carlyn passed away on January 10, 2026 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 78.  She is survived by her husband, Larry Ballard of Lincoln, Nebraska; son, Lee Warnsholz (special friend, Rose Bonnie) of Sterling, Nebraska; daughter, Jennifer DeBoer of Lincoln, Nebraska; granddaughter, Danelle DeBoer of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandson, Derek DeBoer of Fairbury, Nebraska; and sister, Jeanette Neumann of Loveland, Colorado.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Edna Burhoop; sister, Phyllis Hoferer; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie (Larry) Hoffman.
