Carol J. Anderson was born on February 25, 1936 to August and Mary (DeCamp) Jensen in Friend, Nebraska. She attended York High School. On June 7, 1957 Carol was united in marriage to her husband Ronald Anderson in Spokane, Washington. Carol’s husband was in the Air Force for 20 years which enabled them to live in many different states and also Japan, Taiwan and England. She worked for AT&T and 7/11off and on until her retirement. In her free time, Carol enjoyed knitting, quilting, smocking, sewing, playing bridge, cribbage, sevens, gardening, baking/cooking and making baby quilts for multiple pregnancy centers. She is survived by her children, Rachel (Mike) Humes of Olathe, Kansas, Rhonda (Mike) Meyer of Seward, Nebraska, Zachary (Sandra) Anderson of Grand Rapids, Michigan/Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Rebecca (Kevin) Brumfiel of Divide, Colorado;14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brother, Joseph Jensen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald (Susan) Jensen, Gary (Connie) Jensen, Ardell (Janet) Anderson; and sisters-in-law, Janet Jensen, Helen Anderson. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, August and Mary Jensen; husband, Ronald Anderson; brothers, Robert Jensen, Gayle Jensen, Allen Jensen, James Jensen and August Jensen; sisters, Lorraine Darling, Marge Lundy, Marilyn Lortz, Deanna Reetz, Edith Stewart, Mary Ann Wright and Betty Lewis.
