Charles "Chuck" E Pierce Jr.

Charles Edgar Pierce Jr. was born on March 30, 1954 to Charles Sr. and June (Gardner) Pierce in Harlan, Iowa.  He graduated from high school in 1972 and went on to do many different jobs in his life, the first being Hughes Brothers in Seward.  He also worked as an assistant manager at the Airpark gas station.  He then went on to pursue his truck driving career.  He hauled everything from milk, to groceries, to hazardous materials.  Chuck married his high school sweetheart, Bev Fritz when he was in his early twenties.  They had two children, Christina & Jeffrey.  After Bev’s passing, he was remarried many years later to Pam Brolhorst and together they had Kendall.  Charles passed away on March 6, 2024 at in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 69.  He is survived by his children, Christina (Arnold) Adams of Beatrice, Nebraska, Jeff (Jennifer) Pierce of Lincoln, Nebraska and Kendall Pierce of Lincoln, Nebraska; siblings, Dave (Teri) Pierce of Ashland, Nebraska, Duane (Wendy) Pierce of Brainard, Nebraska, Sherri (Dan) Hilliges of Ashland, Nebraska and Pam (Ed) Robotham of LeMars, Iowa.  Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and June Copper; wife, Bev Pierce; wife, Pam Pierce; brother, Randy Pierce.

The Pierce family will greet friends at Volzke Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 and then head to Seward Cemetery for the graveside service.
