Connie Jean (Frederick) Kier

Connie Jean Kier was born on April 22, 1947 to Gene and Shirley (Glasgow) Frederick in Chappell, Nebraska.  She attended Chappell High School graduating in 1965. On March 26, 1997 Connie was united in marriage to Darrel Kier in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the City Clerk in Chappell, Nebraska.  In her free time, she enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and spending time with her family. She also worked as an event staff person for Husker football and volleyball games. Connie passed away on May 15, 2024 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 77.  She is survived by her sons, Dan Ford (friend, Cynthia) of Chappell, Nebraska and Steve (Lisa) Ford of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Ann (Aaron) Ward of Greeley, Colorado, Clarice (Johnathan) Krueger of Grant, Nebraska, Averi Ford of Lincoln, Nebraska and Mason Ford of Lincoln, Nebraska; great grandson, Timothy Krueger of Grant, Nebraska; step sons, Greg (Gerri) Kier of Lafayette, Colorado, Roman (Jennifer) Kier of Brownsburg, Indiana and Andy (Veronica) Kier of Denver, Colorado; brothers, Dennis (Cherie) Frederick of Lincoln, Nebraska and John (Sarah) Frederick of Mills, Nebraska.  Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Kier; parents, Gene and Shirley Frederick; sister, Sharon Paro; great grandson, Simon Ford; and step son, Mason Kier.
