Dale Edward Sieck

Dale Edward Sieck, of Garland, was born on January 6, 1932 to Edward E.H. and Emma H.C. (Schulz) Sieck in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He attended grade school and then began farming. Dale served in the United States Army from September 18, 1952 to July 23, 1954 and National Guard from July 23,1954 to September 17, 1960.  On May 1, 1963, Dale was united in marriage to Zora Moore in Lincoln, Nebraska. He worked in construction from 1955 to 1969.  Dale loved raising cattle.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards, listening to polka music, watching The Price is Right and going to farm auctions.  He especially enjoyed eating sweets such as cookies and cakes.  He was a member of Seward V.F.W. Post #4755 and Army National Guard. Dale passed away on January 18, 2022 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 90 years and 12 days.  He is survived by his wife, Zora Sieck, Garland, Nebraska; children, Sheila (Scott) Pekarek, Garland, Nebraska, Randy Sieck, Garland, Nebraska; grandchildren, Reece (Madison) Pekarek, Omaha, Nebraska, Breanna (Drew) Hoffmann, Omaha, Nebraska; great grandson, Harvey Pekarek; brother-in-law, Duard Moore, Lincoln, Nebraska.  Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Emma Sieck; brother, Donny Sieck; sisters-in-law, Thelma Johnson, Ardythe Gronlund, Gwendolyn Grigsby; brothers-in-law, Terrence Andrew, Dwayne Moore, Anson Moore.
