Dolores Evelyn Schmidt

Dolores Evelyn (Schmieding) Schmidt was born April 2, 1930, to Eleonora (Sieck) and Louis Clamor Schmieding on the family farm near Gresham, York County. She died on August 19, 2017, in Missoula, MT. Dolores was married on September 1, 1949 to Lester A. Schmidt, Gresham, NE. She started her married life on a farm west of Gresham before moving to Bennet, NE. Several years later the family moved to Lincoln, NE where they were long-time residents. Dolores and Les moved to Superior, NE in 2011, and Dolores moved to Missoula, MT in 2016. Dolores is survived by her sister Verna Richert, Utica; daughter-in-law Sonia Schmidt, Superior; daughter Judy (Don) Stamm, Paradise, MT; son Donn (Cheryl) Schmidt, Rogers, AR; grandchildren Anthony, Wade (Emily), and Abby Schmidt; Elisa Stamm and Kelsey Stamm Jimenez (Ben); Reed (Maya), Garret, and McKaela Schmidt; and great grandchildren Jonah, Lyla and Lincoln Schmidt; Simone Schmidt and Ari Jimenez. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Wilbert, Orville, and Arthur, sister Norma Jean, husband Lester (2012), and son Tim (2015).
