Douglas Wayne Naber was born on October 2nd , 1955 to Roland and Mary (Robinson) Naber in York, Nebraska. He graduated from Centennial High School and attended college at Fort Wayne in Colorado. Over the years he worked for Tamora elevator, City of Utica, and Walmart. Doug had an infectious laugh and enjoyed racquetball, softball, umpiring, and attending/watching various sports games in his free time. He was an avid Husker and Raider fan. Doug passed away on February 10th , 2024, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 68. He is survived by his sister, Sheryl Richters of Waco, Nebraska; nephew, Danny Richters of Omaha, Nebraska; niece, Amber (Jake) Hoban of Fairmont, Nebraska; niece, Mercedes (Andrew) Ronholt of Mequon, Wisconsin; nephew, Bryon (Ashley) Wellmann of Waco, Nebraska; great nieces and nephews, Cameron Eggleston, Cayden, Taylor, and Reagan Richters, Brecken Hoban, Farrah, and Lydia Gordon, and Alex Wellmann; aunt and uncle, Donna and Robert Ocken of Waco, Nebraska. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Mary Naber; sister, Karen Wellmann; brother, Randy Naber; great nephew, Henry Wellmann.
