Evelyn "Evie" Jean Pollak

Evelyn "Evie" Jean Pollak was born on May 13, 1926 to George and Eleanor (Sheeper) Richters in Seward, Nebraska. She graduated from Utica High School. On September 10, 1950, Evie married Frank Pollak at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska. Evie worked as a beautician at Lucille Duer Hair Salon for over 60 years. She was an avid Husker fan. In her free time she enjoyed crossword puzzles and polka music. She loved to can her famous pickles. Evie was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #4755. Evie passed away on May 24, 2018 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 92 years and 11 days. She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Judy) Pollak, Elkhorn, Nebraska, Douglas (Robin) Pollak, Seward, Nebraska, Jerry (Deb) Pollak, Seward, Nebraska; grandchildren, Cori Kerr, Travis Pollak, Kacy Pollak, Cody Pollak, Haley Pollak, Shawn Pollak, Christopher Pollak; great grandchildren, Collin Pollak, Avery Pollak, Logan Kerr, Carter Kerr, Sloan Kerr; sister-in-law, Wilma Richters. Evie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pollak; parents, George and Eleanor Richters; brothers, Gerald (Claudine) Richters, Norman Richters; sisters, Irene (Bill) Richie, Shirleen (Bob) DeBus; grandchildren, Shannon Lorraine Pollak, Tesa Nicole Pollak.
