Gerald Eugene Hillmann

Gerald Hillmann was born on September 6, 1945 to Carl and Clara (Preisinger) Hillmann in Seward, Nebraska. He attended St. John Lutheran School in Seward and graduated from Seward High School in 1964. He then attended Milwaukee Tech College, graduating in 1971. On August 8, 1970, Gerald was united in marriage to Lynne Graf in Grafton, Wisconsin. Gerald was a farmer and electrician. He worked for the University of Nebraska at Lincoln as an electrician for 40 years, retiring in 2012. He was a member of Camp Creek Threshers, Prairie Blacksmith Association and Boy Scouts. He enjoyed woodworking in his free time. Gerald passed away on July 27, 2018 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 21 days. He is survived by his wife, Lynne Hillmann, Seward, Nebraska; daughter, Jean Ellen (Paul) Ozbun, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; son, Gregor (Christina) Hillmann, Staplehurst, Nebraska; granddaughter, Megan Hillmann; sister-in-law, Jane Hillmann, York, Nebraska; nephew, Terry Hillmann, York, Nebraska.
