Gordon Gene Goldsmith

Gordon Gene Goldsmith was born on July 3, 1943 to Lloyd and Erna (Niemann) Goldsmith in Seward, Nebraska. He attended Seward High School graduating in 1961.  He served in the United States Navy from June 1961 - July 1964. On June 17, 1967 Gordon was united in marriage to Janice Teggatz at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa County, Iowa. He worked as an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Southeast Community College in Milford.  In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.  He enjoyed watching Nebraska sports, especially football. Gordon passed away on June 13, 2024 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 80.  He is survived by his children, Trenton (Elizabeth) Goldsmith of Lincoln and Tarrah Mueri of Milford; grandchildren, Andrew, Caleb, Timothy, Seth, Luke and Joseph Goldsmith and Kaden Goldsmith and Amara (Josh) Beeken; great grandchildren, Penny and Carter; sister, Nancy Cooksey of Seward, Nebraska; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.  Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Erna Goldsmith; wife, Janice Goldsmith; brother, Larry Goldsmith.
