Gregory H. “Greg” Voss was born on August 1, 1951 to Robert and Bonnie (Sohn) Voss in Worthington, Minnesota. He attended high school at Eldora, Iowa, graduating in 1969. He then went on to attend college at Concordia Teachers College, graduating in 1973, then later earning his master’s degree at The University of Nebraska in 1982. On June 19, 1999 Greg was united in marriage to Carla Radford at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward, Nebraska. Greg was an excellent science teacher at Seward middle school for 34 years before retiring in 2007. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, all sports (especially football) puzzles, traveling and wrestling. He watched every episode of M.A.S.H many times. Greg is survived by his wife Carla Voss of Seward, Nebraska, Sister Jolene (Richard) Balvanz of Marion, Iowa, children Tonya (Tony) Martinez of Pueblo, Colorado, Stacy Hinds of Kansas City, Missouri, Jarrod Voss of Kansas City, Missouri, Mindy (Brian) Brose of Bee, Nebraska, Tyson (Yenni) Schroeder of Seward, Nebraska. Grandchildren Dustin (Cearra) Kruse, Sierra (Joe) Heinrich, Javon Martinez, Gage Martinez, Michaela (Logan) Looney, Hannah Hinds, Cody Brose, Abigail Brose, Keysha (Lee) Stonewall, Austin (Kenna) Forney and Eric Forney, Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert & Bonnie Voss, sister Merilee Voss, in - laws Harold & Lola Radford and his beloved dog Luci.
The Voss family requests that funeral attendees wear Minnesota Vikings, Nebraska Cornhuskers or Seward Bluejays apperal for the funeral service.
