James David Greenwood

James “Jim” David Greenwood, 74, of Deadwood, South Dakota passed away on October 29, 2023 with his daughters by his side. He was born on February 24, 1949 in Corsicana, Texas. Jim, a beloved father and grandfather lived his life dedicated to his family.  Jim proudly served in the marines, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his country.  His military associations played a significant role in shaping his character and values. Jim is survived by his daughters, Tara Greenwood (Isaac) and Megan (Johnny) Soriano; and his cherished grandchildren, Landon, Jaiden, Easton, Jaxson, Ryker, Kainoa, Kyler, Luka and Nora; sister, Juli and brother, Jerry. He held a special place in his heart for his family and he took immense joy in watching his grandchildren grow. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jaunita Greenwood;  brother John, sister, Jean and granddaughter Tanika Rose. Their memory will forever be treasured.
