James “Jim” Edward Wiemer of Lincoln was born on October 14, 1960 to Otto and Darlene (Handler) Wiemer in Seward, Nebraska. He attended high school at Centennial High School in Utica graduating in 1979. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, playing his guitars and listening to vinyl records. He especially loved taking his dog, Shadow, for rides in his Envoy. Jim passed away on February 16, 2021 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 2 days. He is survived by his sisters, Denise Wiemer, Lincoln, Nebraska, Diane (David) Mooney, Utica, Nebraska; his dog, Shadow; former wife, Michelle Hageman, Lincoln, Nebraska; nieces and nephews, Joseph (Kari) Radke and their children, Parker, Kamryn, Charlotte and Landry, Kearney, Nebraska, Danielle (Zachary) Gruber and their children, Scarlett and Alice, Waco, Nebraska, Joshua (Samantha) Mooney, Utica, Nebraska. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Darlene Wiemer.
