Jean Adams Obituary

Jean Campbell Adams was born on June 19, 1930 to Dr. Charles H. and Eula (Curti) Campbell in Burlington, Vermont. She lived her childhood in Columbus, Nebraska and graduated from Columbus High School. On May 29, 1948 Jean was united in marriage to Jawain Adams in Columbus, Nebraska. Jean worked for the Lincoln Journal Star. She enjoyed raising and caring for her horses, goats, dogs and cats; and showed champion animals for many years. Jean passed away on October 19, 2023 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 93. She is survived by her children, Scott (Patty) Adams of Litchfield, Nebraska, Sandra (Orden “Skip”) Owen of Seward, Nebraska and Terri (Richard) Miller of Royse City, Texas; grandchildren, Jawain Adams, Susan Reed, Jason Owen, Adam Owen, Shanna (Jason) Brus, Ashley (Eric) Des Roches, Kimberley Miller and Rebecca Miller; 26 great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Jawain Adams; parents, Dr. Charles and Eula “Jean” Campbell.
