Joan "Joanie" Marie (Nichols) McLellan

Joan "Joanie" Marie McLellan was born on February 4, 1958 to Ervin and Zelma (Schweitzer) Nichols in Seward, Nebraska. She attended Centennial High School graduating in 1976.  On April 7, 1987 Joanie was united in marriage to Robert McLellan in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a homemaker.  In her free time, Joanie enjoyed family, grandchildren and friends. She was amazing, she loved to chat, shop, make her own concoctions of meals. She loved to watch the Nebraska Huskers and Kansas City Chiefs play football. She loved when her family was around her. She loved to watch the programs, sporting events and other activities that her grandkids played in. She was always excited when they would call or text or send updates or drop by. She loved coffee, pie and licorice but most of all jellybeans. She absolutely loved getting pictures from all her family. She had a heart of gold. Joanie passed away on May 12, 2025 at her home in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska at the age of 67. She is survived by her husband, Robert McLellan of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska; children, Robin (Chris) Butzke of Beaver Crossing, Jedidiah (Brooke) McLellan of Lincoln; Aaron (Liz)Crabtree of Milford Tawnya(Larry) Stumpter Texas grandchildren, Daidria, Jayden,Zayla,Elden,Monroe, Gus, Abby, Abram, Haley (Hunter), Ian (Allison), Blayne, Spencer, Madelynn, Aiden. Great Grandchildren Hadleigh, Violet, Julian. sisters, Jean (Chuck) Eggleston of Beaver Crossing and Judy Schmersal of Seward. Nieces and nephews, cousins and aunt Sharon.Joanie was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Zelma Nichols. Sister Janet, Brother in law James, Brother James, Nephew Rodney
