John J. Andreasen

John Jacob Andreasen was born on October 17, 1940 to Andrew and Della (Peregoy) Andreasen in Bloomfield, Nebraska.  He attended Bloomfield High School graduating in 1958.  John served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1964.  On August 4, 1962 John was united in marriage to Jeanette Fehringer in Bloomfield, Nebraska. He was a District Manager for Great Plains Communication for over 25 years. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, pool and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He especially loved his Catholic faith and talking about his children and grandchildren. John passed away on April 4, 2026 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 85. He is survived by his children, Todd (Jody) Andreasen of Bellevue, Nebraska, Tamera (Jim) Toof of Lincoln, Nebraska and Tim (Janel) Andreasen of Lincoln, Nebraska; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings, Bessie Dowty of Baudette, Minnesota; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  John was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Della Andreasen; his wife, Jeannette Andreasen; and his sisters, Ellen (Glenn) Folck, Lucille (LaVern) Kauth and Janie Andreasen; and brother-in-law, Bud Dowty.
