John Irvin Clark, of Garland, was born on August 26, 1942 to Frank and Florence (Anderson) Clark in Ord, Nebraska. He graduated from Ord High School. John served in the United States Air Force from September 1, 1960 to August 31, 1964. On July 31, 1966, John was united in marriage to Yvonne M. Dierberger in Ord, Nebraska. He worked in production at Goodyear for 35 years, retiring in 2001. In his free time, John enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a member of Garland Volunteer Fire Department for 38 years and was a member of Garland Legion Post #369. John passed away on August 17, 2021 at his home in Garland, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Clark, Garland, Nebraska; children, Bradley Clark, Garland, Nebraska, Tonya (John) Petsche, Denton, Nebraska; grandchildren, Ashley, Dezarae, Samantha, Austin, Mikayla; great grandchildren, Addison, Mason; sister-in-law, Janet Clark, Omaha, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Jack Feeney, Omaha, Nebraska; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donald & Beverly Dierberger, Garland, Nebraska, Glen and Lillie Dierberger, Waverly, Nebraska, Dolores Rood, Seward, Nebraska, Virgil and Rita Dierberger, St. Paul, Nebraska, Chester and Mary Dierberger, Scotia, Nebraska. John was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Florence Clark; brother, Frank Clark Jr.; sister, Helen Feeney; nephews, Michael Haines, John J. Feeney; nieces, Kelly Terry, Denise Baker.
