John Lawrence Hoffer, of Lincoln, was born to Lawrence and Mae (Gering) Hoffer on November 20, 1958 in Lincoln, Nebraska. John was a hardworking, good man. He commuted with God when he was out in nature in his tree stands. He enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing. He was a gold medal winner in the State Games for archery. He would Robin Hood his arrows. John passed away on May 5, 2021 at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 15 days. He is survived by his ex-wife, Julie Hoffer, Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Michelle Varela, Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Nash Hoffer and Nydia Varela of Lincoln, Nebraska; sisters, Karen (Bob) Sheehan, Karla (Gene) Masters, of Lincoln, Nebraska; nieces, Jessica Sheehan, Tammy Masters of Lincoln, Nebraska; nephews, Dustin Sheehan, Troy Masters and Todd Masters all of Lincoln and a host of friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mae Hoffer.
