John Alexander Savicky

John Alexander Savicky of Malcolm, was born on February 18, 1940 to Bernard and Agnes (Allison) Savicky in Omaha, Nebraska.  He graduated from high school in Hialeah, Florida in 1958.  On July 19, 1968, John was united in marriage to Diane Lindner in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Throughout his life he worked as a truck driver, courier and handyman.  He also did grounds keeping and maintenance for the dog trial area at Branched Oak Lake.  In his free time he enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports. He also liked to go hunting.  John was always there to help his friends and family whenever needed.  John passed away on March 17, 2021 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 81 years and 28 days.  He is survived by his wife, Diane Savicky, Malcolm, Nebraska; children, Doug (Lisa) Savicky, Malcolm, Nebraska, Susie (Jason) Hartshorn, Garland, Nebraska; grandchildren, Owen Savicky, Olivia Savicky, Amanda Hartshorn, Allison Hartshorn.  John was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Agnes Savicky.
