Jordan David McGowen

Jordan David Kessler McGowen was born June, 3, 1953 to John and Roberta (Ferrin) Kessler in Denver, CO. Jordy was 3 when John died. He moved to Nebraska when his mother married Leo McGowen. Leo adopted Jordy in 1961 and he became Jordan David Kessler McGowen. He attended grade school in Ulysses, NE and graduated from Seward High School in 1971. He attended UNL until he enlisted in the Army in 1974. He was proud to be an Airborne Ranger. Following the Army, he was an instructor at the Nebraska National Guard Military Academy, worked in the irrigation industry and was a computer "guru" for many customers & friends. Jordan passed away at the age of 65 years 4 months and 13 days. He is survived by his wife Debra (Schulz); son James (Nora) McGowen; daughter Stephanie (Derik) Reikofski; son-in-law Michael Faustman and grandchildren: Lydia, John, Rachel, Mary, Nicolas, Robert, Caleb (yet to be born) and, sister Elizabeth (Henry) McGowen-Henderson.
