Karen Kay (Fryc) Studebaker, 75, of Seward NE, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Ridgewood Care Center, Seward NE. Born June 7th 1948 to Fred and Marie Fryc of Garland NE.
Karen worked at Sundermann Home in Seward NE, as a CNA, Concordia University, Seward, NE, as a cook, and transported Special Needs adults to and from their work place, before retiring.
Proceeded in death by parents Fred and Marie Fryc, and brother David Fryc. Karen is survived by her sons Rod (wife Kelly) Hartshorn of Wichita, KS, Kelly (wife Sharon) Hartshorn of Utica, NE, and Todd (wife Jami) Studebaker of Wentzville, MO. Grandchildren Riley (Amy) Hartshorn, Reed Hartshorn, Ross (Brianna) Hartshorn, Haley (Kyle) Koranda, Jesse Hartshorn, Hunter Hartshorn, Jayden Hartshorn, Dominic (Hannah) Studebaker, Kris (Megan) Studebaker, Raiden (Caleb) Diaz, Barret Studebaker, and eight great grandchildren. Sisters, Pat Sitler of Garland, NE, Carol (Gene) Mayfield of Seward, NE, and several nieces and nephews.
