Lorraine Schroeder Obituary

Lorraine Maxine Schroeder was born on November 23, 1925 to Arthur and Alma (Bluhm) Sell in Milford, Nebraska. She was baptized on December 28, 1925 at Friedens Evangelical Church in Seward and she was confirmed on April 2, 1939. Lorraine attended country school through the eighth grade and then Seward High School, graduating in 1943. On February 1, 1948, Lorraine was united in marriage to Carl W. Schroeder at Friedens Evangelical Church in Seward, Nebraska. She worked in the office at Hughes Brothers Manufacturing for over 40 years, retiring in 1988. Lorraine was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. In her free time she enjoyed doing volunteer work. Lorraine passed away on March 12, 2018 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 17 days. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Jeff) Wacker, Parker, Texas, Ron (Anita) Schroeder, Columbus, Nebraska; grandchildren, Jenny (David) Armstrong, Richardson, Texas, Angie (Mike) Walker, Plano, Texas; great grandchildren, Jeffrey Armstrong, Samantha Armstrong, Ellie Armstrong, Connor Walker, Noah Walker, Brooklyn Walker; sister, JoAnn (Dean) Auman, Lincoln, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Carol Sell, Seward, Nebraska. Lorraine was preceded by her husband, Carl Schroeder; parents, Arthur and Alma Sell; brothers, Wayne Sell and Neal Sell. Visitation Time(s)
