Loyola "Oley" May Dvorak, of Utica, was born on November 23, 1932 to Melvin Cecil and Hazel Marie (Hurtie) Bridges in Beattie, Kansas. She graduated from high school. On July 15, 1950, Loyola was united in marriage to Joseph Anton Dvorak at Holy Family Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Loyola worked as a cook. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, puzzles, gardening and playing cards. She loved visiting and following her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s activities. She also liked to socialize with her friends and participate in Senior Center activities. Loyola loved to go dancing and she made the “World’s Best” pancakes. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Utica. Loyola passed away on July 21, 2021 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 88 years, 7 months and 28 days. She is survived by her children, Sherry (Bill) Winkelman, Waco, Nebraska, Randy (Karen) Dvorak, Utica, Nebraska; grandchildren, Sterling (Tammy) Winkelman, Utica, Nebraska, Casey (Joe) Tonniges, Gresham, Nebraska, Cody (Charlotte) Dvorak, Kearney, Nebraska, Matt (Ann) Dvorak, Newport, Nebraska, Colette (Zane) Powell, Ogallala, Nebraska, McKenzie (Kenny) Parr, Utica, Nebraska; great grandchildren, Aurora, Camden, Chaylee, Cheyenne, Elise, Dane, Addison, Eleanor; sister, Bonnie (Melvin) Suchy, Ceresco, Nebraska; sister-in-laws, Rose Bohac, David City, Nebraska, Mae Pernicek, Brainard, Nebraska; numerous nieces and nephews. Loyola was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Hazel Bridges; husband, Joseph Dvorak.
