Michael Allen Williams

On June 12, 2021, Michael Williams, loving father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 71, in Seward, Nebraska.  Michael was born on August 24, 1949, in Alturas, California, to George and Dorothy Williams.  He graduated Yreka High School and shortly there after he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he received numerous commendations for this service in Viet Nam, before being honorably discharged.  He married Marti Corn in 1970 and they raised four beautiful children, Michael, Chrystina, Matthew and Jennifer.  Michael’s true passion was traveling, a love he developed serving in the Navy.  Over the years he shared that passion with his children, showing them the wonders of America.  His travels led him to Palmer, Alaska, where he raised his children, and finally to Seward, Nebraska, where he retired.  He is survived by his children, Timothy Beebe, Michael Williams, Matthew Williams, Chrystina Williams, Jennifer Waller; grandchildren, Brenton Green, Aubreyana Sestak, David Giordano, Faith Beebe, Logan Hebeisen, Tyler Williams, Austin Waller, Dakota Williams, Trystan Waller, Adam Williams, Corinna Waller, Chelsea Garcia; nine great grandchildren.  Michael was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Williams; siblings, Frank Williams, George Williams, Pat Williams, Sue Paulson, Jane Williams.  Michael will be laid to rest in Likely, California, in his family plot, surrounded by his brothers and sisters.
