Nenita Amongo Schweitzer

Nenita Amongo Schweitzer of Seward, Nebraska was born on March 28, 1954 in the Phillipines to Gregorio and Crispina (Amongo) DelaCruz.  On August 13, 1988 Nenita was united in marriage to Gary Schweitzer in Goehner, Nebraska.  She worked in the food service industry.  Most recently she worked for Chartwells as a line server, retiring in 2015.  Nenita was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Goehner.  In her free time she enjoyed bowling, crocheting, traveling and cooking.  She also enjoyed gardening and playing Scrabble.  Nenita passed away on January 4, 2021 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 7 days.  She is survived by her husband, Gary Schweitzer, Seward, Nebraska; son, Rosauro Amongo DelaCruz, daughters, Rhoda Amongo DelaCruz and Rowena Amongo DelaCruz all of the Phillipines.  Nenita was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Crispina DelaCruz; brothers, Bonnie DelaCruz, Mar DelaCruz.
