Pamela Kay Fielder, of Lincoln, was born on August 3, 1949 in Omaha, Nebraska and was adopted by John and Twila Ehlers of Utica, Nebraska. She was baptized on August 23, 1949 and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica, Nebraska on April 7, 1963. Pam graduated from Utica High School on May 22, 1967. She received her Practical Nursing Degree from SCC-Lincoln in 1979. She later went on to receive her Nursing Home Administrative Degree in 1991 from SCC-Lincoln. In addition, she obtained her Assisted Living Administrator License in 2005. Pam was first married to Lee Ahrens in June 1968. She married Dennis Fielder on May 21, 1983 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica, Nebraska. Pam started her healthcare career as an aide at the nursing home in Utica where she also practiced as an LPN and finished her career there as the Nursing Home Administrator. She was passionately committed to ensuring that her residents were well cared for and went above and beyond, giving them the best possible quality of life. Pam enjoyed watching Husker Football and Volleyball, doing crossword puzzles, word searches and putting puzzles together. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s activities. Pam passed away on March 14, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, 7 months and 11 days. She is survived by her brother, Gary Ehlers; daughters, Heather (Dan) Meyer, Melissa (Todd) Grantski and Kacy Fielder; grandchildren, Kerra Grantski-Siel, Trenten Meyer, Dylon Grantski, Kasha Meyer, Shayla Meyer, Brayden Roman-Fielder, Bradlee Fielder and Tajiah Harvey; great-grandchildren, Korbin Schneider, Mavick Grantski, Khole Siel, Zoey Siel and Reyna Grantski. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, John and Twila Ehlers; husband, Dennis Fielder and sister-in-law, Linda Ehlers.
