Pauline "Paulie" (Miller) Johnson

Pauline “Paulie” Johnson, first-born child to George C. Miller and Pearl Marie (Althouse) Miller arrived on April 16, 1933, and died June 4, 2022 at the age of 89. In 1949, she married Gordon Johnson and they lived their entire lives and raised four children on their farm near Waco, Nebraska. Paulie was an accomplished gardener, cook, housekeeper, and farm partner. That she cooked excellent meals three times a day, seven days a week for her family, kept them well-clothed, clean, and healthy is almost impossible to imagine today. On many Saturday nights she and Gordon could be seen cutting up the dance floor at various ballrooms in the area.

 Paulie is survived by her daughters, Sandra Johnson, Cheri (Tim) Miller; daughters-in-law Beth Johnson, Laura Nyen Johnson, Cathy Peterson; grandchildren: Kim Rivas, Derek Miller, Coral Miller; Cole Johnson, Amy Rhone; Hayes Johnson, Macey (Nic) Marsden; Shannon (Jason) Heilbrun, Jana (Brent) Maresh, Jordon Johnson, Amanda Hayes (fiancé); great-grand children: Piper, Jack, Brett; Sawyer; Ryder; Alex, Max, Charlie, Quinn; Ardy Jo, Harry; brothers James, Karl, John, sister Linda.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Jonnie, Jorri; brothers Charlie, Dave, George (Dickie), Leroy, Harold; sisters; Cathie, Marilyn.

 There will be no services per Paulie’s wishes. We hope she and Gordon are now dancing in eternity.
