Obituary
Polly Ann Coon, of Gresham, was born on September 9, 1965 to Delmar and Dorothy (Stephens) Cain in Lincoln, Nebraska. She attended Gresham High School graduating in 1983. On March 9, 1987, Polly was united in marriage to Johnnie Coon in Utica, Nebraska. She worked in seed production, mostly at Ciba-Geigy then later at Monsanto. In her free time, Polly enjoyed spending time with friends, family and her dogs. She liked to cook, bake and play mobile games. Polly passed away on June 8, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 56 years, 8 months and 30 days. She is survived by her children, Alexandrea Coon (Shane Burchfield) of Gresham, Nebraska, Jessie Coon (Megan Romero) of York, Nebraska; siblings, Tony Cain and James Zieg. Polly was preceded in death by her parents, Delmar and Dorothy Cain; husband, Johnnie Coon. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to her family for later designation.
