Randall "Randy" Pierce Obituary

Randall “Randy” James Pierce was born on August 5, 1955 to Charles and June (Gardner) Pierce in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He attended Seward High School graduating in 1973.  After high school he worked at Hughes Brothers, Inc. in their new Advertising Department. Randy then moved to New York and was united in marriage to Linda Anderson On June 11, 1994.  He worked in construction as a laborer with Labourers International Union of North America, L.U.#66 He was a foreman on some of the reconstruction of the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York.  He loved to do freelance painting of company logos on commercial trucks and also did landscaping.  In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching New York Yankees baseball.  He was sober in AA for 33 years and served as a sponsor to others.  Randy passed away on April 1, 2023 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 27 days.  He is survived by his wife, Linda Anderson-Pierce of W. Hempstead, New York; brothers, Chuck Pierce of Lincoln, Nebraska, Dave (Teri) Pierce of Ashland, Nebraska, Duane (Wendy) Pierce of Brainard, Nebraska; sisters, Sherri (Dan) Hilliges of Stanton, Nebraska, Pam (Ed) Robotham of LeMars, Iowa; nieces and nephews.  Randy was preceded in death by his  father and stepmother, Charles and Doris Pierce, mother and stepfather, June and Herold Copper; grandparents, Clarence and Ruth Gardner, Charles Pierce and Ethel Godman; step grandparents, Alfred and Faye Copper.
