Robert “Bob” L. Brungardt, of Seward, was born on June 27, 1938 to Mike and Mary (Kaberlein) Brungardt in Russell, Kansas. He graduated from Gorham High School in Gorham, Kansas in 1956. He served in the United States Army from July 17, 1957 to May 6, 1958. Bob worked in retail management for 50 years retiring in 2010. In his free time, Bob enjoyed playing cards and watching sports, especially the Denver Broncos and St. Louis Cardinals. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School. Bob passed away on November 8, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 84 years, 4 months and 12 days. He is survived by his stepsons, Troy (Suzanne) Dixon of Aurora, Nebraska and Trent (Raquel) Dixon of Plano, Texas; stepgrandchildren, Hailey Dixon and Jacob Dixon; sister-in-law, Ruth Brungardt of El Dorado, Kansas. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Mary Brungardt; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond Brungardt, Clem (Beatrice) Brungardt, Richard Brungardt, Joe (Mary Lou) Brungardt; sister, Maggie Liekam; sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor (Sylvester) Kuhn.
