Ronald “Ronnie” Ray Rohren of Utica was born on December 29, 1937 in Staplehurst, Nebraska to Walter and Esther (Winkelman) Rohren. He attended Seward High School graduating in 1955. On October 3, 1964. Ronnie was united in marriage to Peggy Peterson at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica, Nebraska. He had various jobs over the years but his favorite was feed supplement salesman for Furst-McNess. In his free time Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his family and having coffee with friends. He liked to drive around the countryside taking in the beauty of the Nebraska farmland. He was a great joke and story teller. He liked watching sports of any kind especially the Huskers and he enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s activities. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. Ronnie passed away on March 25, 2021 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 27 days. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Rohren, Utica, Nebraska; children, Rob (Sherri) Rohren, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Rhonda (Russ) Souchek, Seward, Nebraska, Rochelle (Scott) Clausen, Fremont, Nebraska, Renee (Blake) Johnson, Holdrege, Nebraska; sister, Carolleen (John) Junge, York, Nebraska; grandchildren, Rachel (Nick) Theis, Ryan (Kelsey) Rohren, Rebecca (Joshua) Felts, Reid (Melissa) Rohren, Riley Souchek, Morgan Souchek, Blair Souchek, Piper Souchek, Scotty Clausen (Bailey Howley), Lena Clausen, Lauren Johnson, Garret Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Gracie Johnson; great grandchildren, Samuel and Weston Theis, Charlotte and Rigley Rohren, Chace & Clara Felts, Brooks Clausen, Baby Rohren (due August 2021); mother-in-law, Virginia Peterson, Seward, Nebraska; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Beth Peterson; sister-in-law, Donna Peterson; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Esther Rohren; brother, Veryl Rohren; father-in-law, Don Peterson.
