Roy Dwayne Ehrlich

Roy Dwayne Ehrlich of Seward was born on October 22, 1946 to Paul and Viola (Bogenhagen) Ehrlich in Burke, South Dakota. He attended Fort Pierre High School in South Dakota graduating in 1964. Roy served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 to December 8, 1971. On August 23, 1971 Roy was united in marriage to Linda Hans in Lincoln, Nebraska. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 34 years retiring in 2003. He then worked for the City of Seward from 2004 - 2021. In his free time, Roy enjoyed watching football. In his younger years he liked to hunt and fish. Roy passed away on August 13, 2023 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife, Linda Ehrlich of Seward, Nebraska; children, Matthew Ehrlich of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, James Ehrlich of Seward, Nebraska, Eric (Alison) Ehrlich of Lincoln, Nebraska, Philip Ehrlich of Seward, Nebraska; grandchildren, Alicia (Bryce) Davis, Kielyn Ehrlich, Braden Chipman and Cassidy Chipman; great grandchildren, Charllet and Rylan Davis; sister, Deanna Dowding: brother-in law, Delbert Junge and sister-in-law Judy Landenberger. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Viola Ehrlich, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Richard Dowding Sr., Dick and Della Miers, Ray Landenberger, Richard Hans, Marjorie Junge and Nancy Johnson.
