Ruth Elaine (Zurcher) Olson

Ruth E. Olson of Utica, Nebraska was born on October 24, 1935 to Jacob and Elsie (Jackson) Zurcher in Neligh, Nebraska.  On June 14, 1953, Ruth was united in marriage to Donald D. Olson in Albion, Nebraska.  She worked at Lancaster County Bank as a bank teller.  In her free time she liked knitting and camping.  She especially enjoyed attending the activities of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Ruth passed away in Seward, Nebraska on November 20, 2020 at the age of 85 years and 27 days.  Ruth is survived by her husband Don Olson, Utica, Nebraska; children, Douglas (Dorothy) Olson, Columbus, Nebraska, Timothy (Kristy) Olson, Alvo, Nebraska, Jeffrey (Teri) Olson, Hastings, Nebraska; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.  Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Elsie Zurcher; brothers, Carl Zurcher, Wayne Zurcher; sister, Beulah Hansen.
