On Thursday, December 4th, 2025, Jim Rosowski's eldest son, Scott Rosowski, age 54, died of colon cancer which had spread to his liver and kidneys. He had been under care and chemotherapy treatment for two years at Bryan East and West in Lincoln. With Aseracare Hospice in Bryan West, he died peacefully. Scott worked for many years doing the sound and light for live performances at the Zoo Bar in Lincoln.
His full-time job for the past three years was an in-house technician for the Omaha based company Wagoner Wind, where he gathered solar and meteorological data at 6 to 12 sites each week at over 15+ states over the years. Scott's work was driving up to 4,500 miles a week during his first two years with the company and 2,500 miles a week most recently. His work ensured valid and accurate data has been used in developing many currently operating solar farms across America.
Scott's ashes will be spread in Pitkin, Colorado, where Scott's family owned a cabin for 35 years. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
