Sharon Eirene Neihardt

Sharon was born on July 8, 1943 to Duane and Ruth (Heyen) Anderson in Milford, Nebraska. She attended Seward High School and then received her G.E.D. On June 20, 1966, Sharon was united in marriage to Daniel Neihardt in Yankton, South Dakota. Sharon worked at Crestview Care Center and then Anna Sundermann Home for 36 years, as a caregiver, retiring in 2005. In her free time Sharon enjoyed attending grandkids activities and family gatherings. She loved taking care of her family and raising her three children. She enjoyed decorating the house for the holidays and collecting teapots. She was a member of United Church of Christ and attended West Blue Church. Sharon passed away on July 18, 2017 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 74 years and 10 days. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Anderson, Milford, Nebraska; children, Michelle Neihardt, Milford, Nebraska, Lisa (Nik) Ditzler, Palmyra, Nebraska; Jeffrey Neihardt (special friend, Stacey Strole), Seward, Nebraska; grandchildren, Dustyn Alfredson (Amanda Zysset), Dylan Alfredson, Trever (Kristi) Dunkin, Karissa Dunkin (George Jackson), Kameren Neihardt, Gabriella Neihardt, Shawn & Eric Strole; great grandchildren, Kara and Haze Dunkin, Landon and Reid Alfredson, Alexander Jackson; brothers, Donald (Virginia) Anderson, Melbourne, Florida, Dale Anderson (friend, Joyce Forst), Seward, Nebraska, Kenneth (Linda) Anderson, Las Vegas, Nevada. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Duane Anderson; husband, Daniel Neihardt; sister-in-law, Rita Anderson.Visitation Time(s)
