Stanley Howard Matzner

Stanley Howard Matzner was born on May 20, 1946 to Carl and Irene (Suhr) Matzner in Stromsburg, Nebraska. He graduated from Gresham High School in Gresham, Nebraska. On August 17, 1985, Stanley was united in marriage to Nancy Ann Morgan at York, NE. Stanley served in the United States Army from May 13, 1968 to July 13, 1969. He farmed and did appliance repair for most of his life. Stanley passed away on May 3, 2018 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 71 years 11 months and 13 days. He is survived by his son, Terry (Rhonda) Matzner, Yuma, Arizona; daughter, Sheri (Jon) Zulauf, Plymouth, Nebraska; stepson, Greg (Melissa) Cromer, Beatrice, Nebraska; stepdaughter, Crystal (Mark) Norvell, Geneva, Nebraska; brothers, Leon Matzner, Gresham, Nebraska, Dennis (Andrea) Matzner, Gresham, Nebraska; sisters, Joann (Ronald) Paulsen, Minden, Nebraska, Judy (Rick) Buresh, Lincoln, Nebraska; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Stanley was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ann Matzner; parents, Carl and Irene Matzner; brother, Edward "Eddie" Matzner; great grandson, Cody.
