Steven B Simants

Steven Blain Simants, of Seward, was born on May 26, 1961 to Lawrence and Dorothy (Morgan) Simants in North Platte, Nebraska.  He attended Gothenburg High School graduating in 1980.  Steven served in the United States Army.  He was a rock hauler for Buel Trucking in Weeping Water and Jacobsen Rock and Gravel in Garland.  In his free time, he enjoyed skydiving, fishing, Nascar and NHRA.  Steven passed away on October  2, 2023 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 62.  He is survived by his son, Jason (Dani) Koehler of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska; brothers, Scott (Becky) Simants and Larry (late wife, LaRee) Simants both of Gothenburg, Nebraska; friend, JoAnn Paulsen of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska.  Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Dorothy Simants and sister-in-law, LaRee Simants.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2023 AT 1:00 P.M. AT THE AMERICAN LEGION POST #178 IN BEAVER CROSSING (1019 ELK STREET, BEAVER CROSSING).
