Terry Leo Imig, of Seward, was born on December 20, 1947 to Leo and Esther (Beckmann) Imig in Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended Seward High School graduating in 1966. He then earned his Agricultural Engineering Degree at University of Nebraska at Lincoln. On March 24, 1990 Terry was united in marriage to Joyce Grabowski in Harbine, Nebraska. He owned and operated Imig Farms L.L.C. In his free time, Terry enjoyed square dancing, farming, electrical and handyman work. He also judged Dairy cows for county fairs. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. Terry passed away on December 5, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 16 days. Terry is survived by his wife, Joyce Imig of Seward, Nebraska; son, Jacob (Lucy) Imig of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Amanda Imig (fiancé, Robert Pierce) of Kearney, Nebraska; grandson, Leo Imig; siblings, Janice (Don) Qualseth of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Marilyn (Wayne) Hagemoser of Ames, Iowa, Otto “Bill” (Sarah) Imig of Parker, Colorado, Susan (George) Coon of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Connie (John) Mahaney of Lincoln, Nebraska, James (Donna) Imig of Seward, Nebraska, Rick (Sally) Imig of Austin, Texas and Kent Imig (Lori Kreimer) of Lincoln, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Patricia Kauffman of Lincoln, Nebraska. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Esther Imig and brother, Rodney Imig.
