Vicki Sue (Waterman) Gleisberg

Vicki Sue Gleisberg, of Seward, was born on September 5, 1952 to Charles “Chuck” and Bess (Hartman) Waterman in Norfolk, Nebraska.  She attended Creighton High School graduating in 1970.  She worked for Protective Fire & Casualty.  On July 14, 1984 Vicki was united in marriage to David Gleisberg in Seward, Nebraska.  She was a die-hard Husker fan.  She enjoyed going on road trips, going to rodeos, being in nature and spending time at her parent’s farm.  She liked to watch ghost and veterinarian shows. She was the best grandma ever and loved spending time with her family.  She was a bonus mom to many of her children’s friends.  Vicki passed away on July 29, 2022 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 24 days.  She is survived by her mother, Bess Waterman of Creighton, Nebraska; husband, David Gleisberg of Seward, Nebraska; children, Lara Eslick of Lincoln, Nebraska, Jason Mahler (Hanna Fitzgerald) of Staplehurst, Nebraska, Sherry (Joshua) Unruh of Blair, Nebraska, John (Darcy) Gleisberg of El Paso, Texas, Jennifer Gleisberg (Tracy Gilman) of Seward, Nebraska, Michael Gleisberg (Melissa King) of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Brianna Eslick, Hayden Eslick, Mitchell Eslick, Brandon Eslick, Lexi Bernt, Jaden Mahler, Dylan Bernt, Floyd Gleisberg, L.J. Unruh, Otto Gleisberg and Hunter Mahler; great grandchild, Brycen Bernt; siblings, Dale Waterman of O’Neill, Nebraska, Mary Kavan of Valparaiso, Nebraska, Bill Waterman of Bradford, PA; beloved pets, Ben, Gemma and Stevie.  Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Charles Waterman and brother, Lee Waterman.
