Wayne Fredrick Schildt

Wayne Fredrick Schildt, of Malcolm, was born on June 29, 1943 to Harold and Helen (Ahrens) Schildt in Garland, Nebraska.  He graduated from Malcolm High School in 1961.  Wayne served in the United States Army National Guard from November 17, 1964 through November 16, 1970.  On May 28, 1988, Wayne was united in marriage to Patricia Jacobsen in Seward, Nebraska.  Wayne worked at the COOP for many years.  He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Garland and the Garland American Legion Post# 369.  Wayne passed away on June 14, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 16 days.  He is survived by his children, Brent Schildt, Ryan (Teresa) Schildt, Leigh (Landon) Husband, Colleen (Tod) Cameron; grandchildren, Landon, Jenna and Faith Husband, Lauren Schildt, Madelein and Ethan Woolard; sisters, Marjean (Milan) Schweitzer, Ila (Harry) Keller.  Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Helen Schildt; wife, Patricia Schildt; sister, Delores Schildt.
